  1. Program Assessment
    Program Assessment
Is your advancement program ... ...ready to address your institution's needs? ...prepared for a capital or comprehensive campaign? ...have enough or properly aligned resources to attain your goals? QSA can provide in depth assessment of your advancement program. Working with your staff, institutional leadership and volunteers, QSA will outline what needs to be addressed, what is working well, where resources - human and financial - may be out of alignment with your goals, and provide real solutions to how to capitalize on your strengths and address your weaknesses.
  2. Interim Leadership
The "down time" in a transition is particularly lethal for an advancement operation. When leadership departs a vacuum is created that needs to be filled immediately. With searches taking months to be successfully completed, advancement programs need to make goal, advance the mission, and work to fulfill the organization's mission. Interim leadership provides great value for an organization. Not only does the work continue, but the interim leader can provide a fresh perspective that can be invaluable in determining who the next leader is.
  3. Planning
External perspective is invaluable in a strong planning process. Too often planning processes are done out of necessity. Nothing comes from the process that will impact, evolve or improve the work of the program. More importantly, when they are done by the "boss" staff typically tries to figure out what they want to hear - an outsider changes that dynamic. QSA will create a planning process to fit your needs. When done in conjunction with our program assessment, time spent planning will be time well spent. An engaging and dynamic process will energize the participants and draw out the best ideas.
